The Athabaskan knife (or Athapaskan knife) is a style of dagger with a Y-shaped pommel, popular amongst the Dene peoples of western North America from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. Earlier examples were made of caribou bone, or later, of copper nuggets found in the Copper River valley; later examples were made from iron and steel trade blades.
